Ramsey Kubofcik is the President of Operation Golden Shield, a student-led nonprofit dedicated to supporting at-risk veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and people in transitional housing. He currently leads the organization’s nationwide expansion, establishing high school chapters across the U.S. that empower students to deliver direct, community-based aid.
As President, Ramsey oversees daily operations and partnerships, driving efforts that range from fundraising and care package distribution to coordinated volunteer initiatives with shelters and veteran service organizations. His leadership centers on impact, sustainability, and building a network of young people equipped to serve vulnerable populations.
Outside of OGS, Ramsey is a pre-medical student at Cornell University majoring in Human Biology, Health, and Society. He conducts clinical and translational research and actively pursues opportunities in patient-facing care. He draws on a lifetime of experience in competitive football and four years as class president in high school—bringing a combination of discipline, leadership, and service orientation to every aspect of his work.
Through Operation Golden Shield, Ramsey is building a national movement rooted in youth leadership, public service, and tangible action for those most in need.
